A VISIT TO MEND THE SOUL

 The day was marked by a memorable visit to Santhi Mandiram at Vattapara for destitute and homeless men. While the climb uphill to the institution was tiring everyone brightened up as soon as we saw the inmates. It seemed like both groups were nervous about the other at first! But after a few fun songs and dances, we warmed up to each other. Some of them started dancing and singing along with us, while our shenanigans elicited some wide smiles from others. The whole day was filled with much sweetness and empathy. I'm sure we all left the place with lots of love and concern in our hearts, and most importantly, with a lesson to look out for the less fortunate.

The fun Talent Hunt show by Natural Science and Physical Science was like a cherry on top to a fulfilling day.

Merry Christmas

 Everyone had on some shade of red as MTTC celebrated Christmas. An eventful day as we engaged in various Christmas competitions organized by Associations and enjoyed the colourful programmes. There were two sets of carol singers who sang their hearts out to spread the Christmas cheer.  We also organized a small celebration in our class, as seniors exchanged their secret Santa gifts and we were on the hunt for the perfect cake. We finally made Meekha ma'am cut the Christmas cake concluding the celebrations with tinge of sweetness. We parted ways with smiles in our faces anticipating the holidays and with a promise to enjoy every moment together starting with the new year in 2022.

Club Inauguration

 School Clubs were inaugurated in a function where Shri. Ambrose sir was the chief guest. Headmistress presided the function. Students staged variety of programmes.  Clubs are truly integral part of schooling. It helps students to excel at their interests and also builds a sense of community. Wishing success to all the new clubs at the school !

FEASTS AND TESTS (29/7 - 1/8)

On 29 July the feast day of Bethany sisters were celebrated. We gave a small gift as a token of our love. I completed the poem "From a Railway Carriage", PPT was used effectively so that students could see and understand the imagery in the poem. I conducted the achievement test on 1 August. It was for 25 marks with a time limit of 45 minutes.
