Reading Week Celebrations

"You think your pain and your heartbreak are unprecedented in the history of the world, but then you read. It was books that taught me that the things that tormented me most were the very things that connected me with all the people who were alive, who had ever been alive."

                                                             - James Baldwin

As part of the reading week celebrations an inauguration ceremony of the Reading and Oratory Club Likha and an invited talk was organized. The inauguration was done by eminent writer Sri George Oonakoor, who enriched everyone with his wise words. The invited talk by young writer and researcher Sri Naufal N was really insightful and inspirational. As the secretary of the club there could have been no better way to kick off the activities of Likha, which mean "creation" in Tagalog and "written" in Hindi.
