THIRD WEEK ROUND UP (26/6 - 1/7)

 Completed the "Boy Who Drew Cats". I enjoyed teaching  it  as it had elements of fantasy and folklore. I used ICT to get certain ideas across and it seems to have worked. Although Malayalam medium students struggle a bit they are putting in good effort in class making the class more lively and interesting. Students also responded well to the TBLT based writing tasks given to them.




Started and finished  the poemTaj Mahal as well. Students struggled a bit with abstract concepts but using rela life examples helped them understand better. Here also ICT was used effectively.

Merry Christmas

 Everyone had on some shade of red as MTTC celebrated Christmas. An eventful day as we engaged in various Christmas competitions organized by Associations and enjoyed the colourful programmes. There were two sets of carol singers who sang their hearts out to spread the Christmas cheer.  We also organized a small celebration in our class, as seniors exchanged their secret Santa gifts and we were on the hunt for the perfect cake. We finally made Meekha ma'am cut the Christmas cake concluding the celebrations with tinge of sweetness. We parted ways with smiles in our faces anticipating the holidays and with a promise to enjoy every moment together starting with the new year in 2022.

Club Inauguration

 School Clubs were inaugurated in a function where Shri. Ambrose sir was the chief guest. Headmistress presided the function. Students staged variety of programmes.  Clubs are truly integral part of schooling. It helps students to excel at their interests and also builds a sense of community. Wishing success to all the new clubs at the school !

The Final Sem !

College re-opened on June 1 for the fourth and final semester of the course. It was treated as an orientation day with strings of talks that was mixture of learning, motivationa and an overview of the semester ahead.  A small function was organized as a farewell for George sir who was transferring to another college. Following which we had talks by Dr. Asha, Dr. Joju John, Prof Nathanien and an overview of the semester by Dr. Bindu. The day concluded with a feedback session. It remains to be seen what the fourth semester has in store for us.
